You remember heading home in a daze because your crush waved your way , or nodded , or brushed up on you . Smiling to yourself while getting in the bed and all you wanted to do was hold on to that moment and replay it over and over again, until falling asleep . What is the definition of affection ... is it squeezing your son as tight as you can possibly can , is it giving a head nod to your homie ?.. is it holding her hands while watching tv ... is it resting your head on her shoulder because , she’s rambling about her day but you just want her to know you are right there with her . Is it putting your feet under her thighs because your feet may be cold , but his or her warmth is more comforting than those old fuzzy socks . Sometimes the most intimate moments are not in the bedroom 🔥🔥. I repeat NOT held in the bedroom , the simple kisses , holding of hands , hugs those blissful moments are necessary for some individuals. Now this doesn’t mean this is everyone’s love language right they can show up ready for the Grand moment ready to go and I tip my hat and hoops off to yuh 😎😎😎. Everyone has needs , desires and emotions , but what happens when your partner and yourself are speaking 2 different languages 😕😕. How do you let them know hey I need affection and I don’t mean having my back blown out till Sunday . Merely it would be nice for you to hold my hand .. or when was the last time a kiss happened. These moments are necessary in my opinion have the conversations .. yes it may feel a bit difficult but you owe it to not only yourself , but to both parties.

Here is the thing in a relationship , dating , a special friend , even a sneaky link 😜. Who doesn’t want to feel wanted .. who doesn’t want to be warmed up a bit. That piece to the puzzle is necessary , it not only opens up the sensual side of us but it allows us to feel vulnerable , safe , protected and WANTED!! . Cuddles are necessary , kisses on the neck necessary .. heartfelt conversations are necessary , hugs are necessary holding hands necessary too . What’s truly necessary is knowing what you need and vocalize it.
